Darth Vader blowup
Peter got a 6 foot tall Darth Vader blowup for Christmas from Uncle Martin. Here's a picture of Julia and Peter posing with Darth. David, meanwhile, can be seen in the background. Let's just say he was less than thrilled with the new decorations.
Goldie blox
Julia got a Goldie Blox set yesterday from Uncle Martin and Aunt Andrea. It's a girl-focused engineering kit, including a storybook. Julia's really excited about her dunking booth that she just built.

Read till you drop
I came in to read Julia a book after getting David down, only to find this. She had apparently gotten to the end, at least the pages had turned there. She woke up when I took the book out of her hand. She said something like, "well, I was pretending to be asleep, but then..."

Christmas pageant
After three years as a cherub, Julia graduated to portraying a sheep in this year's pageant.
We love this low stress pageant. This year, there were two sheep and about five sheperds.

Julia's news
Julia got a note from Santa in the mail today. It said that Baymax blowup isn't ready yet.
She wanted to share with you this picture and dictated the above note.
Pink tree
Audrey and Julia are already getting ready for Christmas because they are very excited about the pink tree.

Where we fit in
David always has a blast at the church nursery. A few weeks ago we had a dinner at the church and he made 5 separate attempts to break away from us and into the nursery. Sadly, there was no nursery that evening, so we had to drag him back to where we were. It's nice to have somewhere they are both so comfortable.
Tonight we went for a Veteran's Day program. Marcie, the nursery coordinator, speculated that Julia would fit in the cubbies about as well as David does. So we had a demonstration. Julia seems to be getting a kick out of still being able to fit in them. David, as usual, is just looking up at Julia, waiting to follow her lead. They fit about the same, though, right?
