Color guard duty

Julia had a great week at Rocky Mountain day camp with girl scout friends earlier this summer.  She got to swim, hike, make crafts, learn first aid, canoe, and learn lots of fun songs.    The last day her group was color guard.

The perfect shoes she saw almost a year ago.  Poppy and Grammie got them for her online once she learned to tie shoelaces.

We tried out a place called "Highway 55" for dinner. As a father's day gift to me, they had butter scotch pecan as the flavor of the day. I had a shake with the meal. Amanda got a cone for dessert Julia got an m&m butterscotch pecan "concrete." David, as you can see, made sure he got some as well, even if it meant grasping his momma's arm.

Blue teeth

We took a trip today to Patriot Park. Julia insisted on walking from the house, so she got a nice blister from her new pink shoes. Mommy and David took the van. We then stopped by Magic City Sweet Ice. Both of the kids had Spiderman flavored (blue Raspberry & red Raspberry). Mommy got blueberry, and Daddy got Lime.
